I thought @mikegrich.bsky.social had a great analysis the other day that looked at the relative weakness of hostile RFA offers under the current CBA. He agreed that it was reasonable to go above the leaked extension offer but IIRC he was 115M for 4 rather than 90.

The National Guard don’t have the authority to make arrests. Their purpose in the absence of actual riots is to create an intimidating presence. They’ve mostly just stood around except in DC where they were forced to do landscaping.

And during the shutdown they are unpaid.
