From about 1:45 here, the Rev says he heard the ICE agents say that they didn’t remember why they were doing the attacks, and describes them as being disorganized and demotivated… hm.

It is horrible. I think it’s obvious now they’re trying to provoke a wider, general populace, either fear or attacks back to bring the martial law crap into play. I really hope people come into the middle — non-violence, without fear, to tire them out first. I *think* and hope it’s slowly working…

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;

A look at the city always pleases me is that, for being a city, it seem incredibly small, clean, low to the ground. Wandering from the area still gives you views of the mountains and ranges, which I never enjoyed in Seattle , San Francisco, or Los Angeles (which are impressive in their own ways).

Portland in October and particularly at night… it can get kinda cold and damp. There’s been times just walking home from the store a frog outfit would have made me very happy.

Hell yeah Portland. Every town, every city needs to find an iconic fighter again fascism. Skateboard Kid in LA, or Scooter Guy in Chicago, or here, we have an inflatable frog. Without that personal identity, our flag, our banner for our city, the fight is much harder to unify ourselves.
