The Recruitment strategies include team composition (ensuring presence of men, ethnocultural representation, and heavy training), recruitment locations and methods (prioritizing direct community-based approaches to recruit fathers where they are and building trusting relationships with community partners), specifically targeting fathers (using the word "dad" or "father" in recruitment materials instead of parent, using visuals featuring fathers), and being flexible (adapting data collection schedules and using technology to meet fathers where they are). Retention strategies include building a trusting relationship with fathers and maintaining contact between waves of the study
