This occurred due to increasing rampant normalization of violent rhetoric and sociopolitical dehumanization, especially on social media.
This is the exact thing I'm talking about when I say we need to stop talking about "punching down" while we only punch sideways instead of up.
Again; I don't give a single fuck which side of the "pOlItIcAl sPeCtRuM" you consider yourself.
A human life was violently taken in an inhuman act... over a difference of opinion. Opinions I don't even agree with for the most part.
If you celebrate that, you are truly disgusting.
My plan for Heartbreaker is to keep it at $2 until beta, then increase by ~50¢ per Episode, with a final price of maybe ~$15 at most.
I wish all the best to Team Cherry.
Don't be a journo, and don't be a bitter douche trying to turn indie into something it should never become.
Driving down market rates so indie doesn't become the new triple-A is a good thing.
There's already too much overlap between indie & double-A, IMO; Many studios with pockets & publishers to be double-A cling to the "indie" label - I believe to appease "anti-capitalist" yayhoos.

boundaries = “this isnt for me and ill take active steps to not see this type of stuff

censorship = “this isnt for me and i want everyone who likes and/or makes this type of stuff thrown in jail”
just in case anyone hasnt said this you can be against censorship while also having boundaries. all those people that make you uncomfortable, you are more than welcome to not want to be around them but you should still advocate for their right to create those things that make you uncomfortable.

I'm seeing fewer posts about the Visa and Mastercard situation, and I want to make it plain as day. You need to keep calling and bothering them and losing them money.

Because if we lose this, they are going to cut more and more from what's available until you can only buy what they approve of.

⬇️
Spoke with an anon source who had an interesting insight into Visa policy. Per a convo with their bank on the Steam/itchio situation today, Visa put new restrictions into place due to a new "government policy." The exact phrase used by Visa. No specific country was listed as the source of the policy

New Heartbreaker build!
I call it "Destruction Edit-B" as there aren't any new gameplay mechanics, but there are several bug fixes, new tweaks, and also the new End Credits song & cutscene.

Daisuke Ōhara (大腹大祐) is a dedicated & capable young trainee chef at the yakiniku bar, Sekitan-Kasai Grill (石炭火災).
