anyway. tobio returns to sinnoh to try and get oikawa into battling again. bc over four regions and leagues, the one person he could never beat was oikawa!!

hinata runs into tobio, recognizes him, and follows along trying to get tobio to battle. they travel together after that!

i also have a character sheet for hinata im working on. hinata is the type to be like, why would i teach my pokemon non-damage dealing moves 🙄 the only stat i wanna lower is opponents HP!!! only for his whole team to get swept by swords dance weavile. lol

i think it would be hilarious if tobio's eevee was shiny.... everyone argues over what he should evolve it into, and when it becomes leafeon everyone's like.
WHY!! leafeon shiny looks exactly like the normal one!!

oikawa design + team partially inspired by drew from the anime. bc oikawa and a roserade just makes sense! the rest of his team is also flamboyant lol
i think him raising a feebas (talent is something you make bloom/inner beauty creates outer beauty) would be sweet 🥺

oikawa gives up battling to be a coordinator. but he's the strongest person tobio knows, so after winning the league tobio seeks oikawa out.
like pokespe yellow, tobio can talk to pokemon hehe
