Phoenix was looking a little emotional right now, slightly teary-eyed. He was watching a video about a mother hen hatching a peacock egg and raising her giant baby with love and care. This hit him right in the feels, for obvious reasons.

Phoenix was lying back, letting Miles rest on him and sleep. He wasn’t very tired himself yet, so he put on a headphone and watched some videos on his phone with the light of the screen dimmed. Without really realizing, he was doing that for quite a while, perfectly content with this position.

Phoenix changed into his own pajamas. Before joining Miles, he pulled over some chairs and blankets, building a little makeshift blanket fort over their bed to make it more comfortable and lock out the outside world for a bit.

Then he crawled into bed and pulled Miles into his arms. "Hey there."
