BONUS: I'm including a design for the opponent in this year's series as well! In recent years Maryland has really played up the state flag design across their uniforms. This concept offers a more subtle approach with the sleeve piping while leaning into the retro M + terrapin logo.

5: Cornhuskers

The full Cornhuskers nickname is often forgotten. This retro-inspired concept makes use of the name across the chest while the vintage corn logo adorns the sleeves. The gorgeous Nebraska script rounds out the design on the helmet.

The secret to a good black uniform for the Huskers is color balance. While this season's real uniforms feature no red at all, this concept leans on red to do the heavy lifting, with white taking a backseat as an accent color.
