like comparatively every gym leader in swsh and sv use their game's mechanics, not to mention raids and other special battles. and what's even funnier is you have to heal to recharge terra forms, compared to everything else being just once per battle (i don't remember z move usage)

you know I'm actually surprised at how underutilized mega evo is in the base game? like aside from the fact that you don't get most until post game you only fight 3 trainers who can do it, and its in the mega tutorial, final lysandre and. the champion.

love that they give you a small gauntlet against the 3 other rivals you have as you get close to fhe 8th gym in xy and they just have to deal with your legendary and mega evo bullshit
