I can't even buy figures of that quality from anybody at $12 wholesale in 2025.

If people are willing to get Hasbro Epic Heroes levels of articulation, sure, but the complaints are many and loud.

Cheapo capture dongle works pretty well. It's a $9 thing from Walmart, used with an Analogue Nt Mini Noir on a Macbook's Quicktime player. It's unplayable on a Mac - so analog output to an old TV is crucial.

When I registered 16bit.com a zillion years ago, the whole point was to be some sort of game info database (with merchandising) and that never panned out. Had a Mac G3 266 tower with RCA in and everything.

Walmart had a clearance $9 HDMI capture dongle today. I might do some game stuff for fun.
