Not nearly enough anger. If there were enough anger, everyone would swear to never vote for a Republican, or every do anything that might help a Republican get elected, ever again. As it stands, we still have lots of Democrats swearing they won't vote for X if X is the Democratic candidate in 2028.
And so is every voter who ever voted for any Republican, for anything. And every voter who stayed home rather than vote for a Democrat. And everyone who enabled and encouraged their Republican-voting "friends".
Then we must not be a freedom-loving people, because a guy promising to be a "dictator from day 1" got RE-elected here. Not enough Democrats cared enough to get off their asses and vote against him. What do people know now that they didn't know a year ago that would make them vote differently?

Sorry, what does this even mean? Why wasn't the 2024 election that time? Or the 2016 election? Or the 2000 election? What lesson do you think people will finally learn now that they never have before?

If people had spent all this energy voting for Al Gore, or Hillary Clinton, or Kamala Harris, we wouldn't HAVE an authoritarian government in the first place. Sheesh. I swear, sometimes it feels like the left welcomes this because it gives them a chance to feel "activist".
What sane person has EVER voted for republican candidates? I've never voted for a Republican for anything, ever, since I started voting in 1980. Are you just figuring this out now? 🙄
Too many on the left think they can just vote any way they want, or not at all, and then fix the fucked-up mess that results by walking down the street carrying a clever sign, or phone-bombing their congresscritter. That's not how any of this works.
Too many on the left get enthused over empty activism, which is exactly what yesterday's "protests" were. Absolutely nothing that happened yesterday will keep the Trump administration from continuing to do exactly what they want.
And? What does that have to do with the fact that he's actually president, and got that way (again) because too many Democrats vote stupidly, or not at all?
Donald Trump was the same Donald Trump then, the same Donald Trump he has ALWAYS been. He promised he would be a "dictator from day 1". How is this so hard to understand?
