My grandfathers place in Tregear, a run down fibro shack on a corner block that needed tearing down went for $730K 2 years back.

Not like the countries can stop you picking up another citizenship as they really lack a legal ability to enforce anything, especially if you just don’t tell them.

Unlike other countries like the US and many others, there’s no massive hoops to renounce, and resuming it is a zero cost procedure that apparently doesn’t take long. So you can get citizenship somewhere that requires renunciation, then just get your Aussie one back easily.

Doing some research today for my potential foreign citizenship from the grandparents and came across the info about resuming Australian citizenship if you give it up to obtain citizenship somewhere that doesn’t allow dual wielding.

In other words, Aussies in Japan could still have both.

I love the fact that they’re finding original 16 and 35mm prints of them and restoring them. They look so much better than the old VHS tapes you’d find in bargain bins in the 90s.

My experience is probably a little different, as that was more common than most would have hoped. Undiagnosed autistic kid with a big brain that also came from incredible poverty, I got all kinds of horrible things said to me.

Another day, another rental application rejected. I just wanna break down because the fear of homelessness is real. I’ve been there. It fucking sucks. Considering my mother was murdered by having to go into a share house, that is also a terrifying thought.
