I love the Venator, but the oversized, goofy ass fixed dual turbolasers are a pet peeve of mine. TCW made them look even larger and more prominent, but I hate them. They're basically worthless.

TNG will always hold a special place in my heart. It is my comfort show. It was the first Trek series I grew up with watching live and real time. Commissioning this piece is a little love letter to my fav franchise and to the ideals of Starfleet and the Federation. ❤️

The USS San Francisco is the other New Orleans-class. Named in honor of the highly decorated heavy cruiser USS San Francisco CA-38 from WWII.

The USS T'Pol obviously named in honor of the character from Enterprise. Plus I wanted some clearly Vulcan and Andorian names in the fleet.

USS Kumari is a great name, so taking that one from STO was perfect given that I really love Andorians. Honoring Shran's famous ship.

The USS Loknar is a similar one. I love FASA's Loknar-class frigate (Starfleet ship designed by Andoria), that seemed perfect for a New Orleans-class.

This is intended to be a classic TNG-era task force. With the appropriate mix of TMP and TNG ships, plus some extra love given to the New Orleans-class and Cheyenne-class, which are my two favorite kitbash ships from BOBW.
