AI is now capable of designing a record-breaking deep sea submersible on its own. This marks a new age of exploration and I encourage all my fellow AI champions to build one and get in it so they can celebrate this achievement from the bottom of the sea.

Wondering whether this small UK spider I observed subduing a wasp can be identified? No obvious web could be seen on the rose, but it seemed quite adept at avoiding the sharp end!

BREAKING NEWS: Garage blue tit cam reveals hatchlings this week! 🐣🐣🐣 😁
adrianpinchbeck.bsky.social
Just thought I'd catch up with the Blue Tit box this morning, as there's been quite a bit of nest building activity recently. I was surprised to see what might be a couple of eggs below feathers in the centre, and if so it would be about a week and a half earlier than last year. 🐣🐣
Camera view inside a box for Blue Tits, showing a bed of white feathers, and what could be two eggs in the very centre.

Ooo, think I got it there! 😁
A simple pinhole camera picked out the partial eclipse today, while sat in the greenhouse with a cuppa.

Lovely to return the boat in some spring sunshine, ready for the new season. Hardly any breeze too, so sent a drone up for a few shots before heading home.

There's Yorkshire stripes from above the surf, the dark ones containing Jet on this tide.

Parallel surf shot highlighting a lightly breaking surf and dark stripes against the wet sand. Some items of jet found among the dark stripes on the beach.

Ah well done, that's a nice shot too and one of my favourites. I was bitten by one of these in WA, but that wasn't a pretty sight! 😬

A three-faced four-eyed gargoyle perched on a 12th century church buttress, it was something the local clergy hadn't noticed from the ground!

Lovely shot to repay the risk.
Following a very dicey experience with a Red Kite a couple of years ago I'm now a little bit twitchy, and despite careful checking they somehow they persist in arriving from nowhere to regularly exercise my nerves! 😬

At minus six celsius it was a tad nippy for mapping some woodland, so I sent the little one up for some overheads and grabbed an opportune silhouette on the way. 🥶

Secluded woodland grotto flown just below the canopy. 😬

Small woodland grotto with dappled wintery sunlight picking out the contrasting textures of dormant bark of surrounding trees, and long-fallen timbers. Flown from an altitude of around two and a half metres.

Finally out to record some habitat restoration projects as the fog has lifted, but couldn't resist pressing the shutter button on my way up. 🌞
Sunrise through a cops, looking over agricultural tracks leading towards a wood on the horizon.

Yes, that looks to be correct.

Conger eels are something of a rarity off East Yorkshire, with only a handful of official recordings between the Wash and Middlesbrough (about 200km of coastline). Luck would have it then, when one photo-bombed a BRUV recording over an inshore wreck earlier this year. 🦑🌍 #ukunderwater

I live surrounded by tidal freshwater, if water conditions are favourable I'm occasionally tempted to drop a camera and attempt to record anything lurking. This day a fearsome looking pike scattered small fry to inspect my equipment.

That ominous face shows little mercy! 👀 😬
adrianpinchbeck.bsky.social
Indeed, and yes it did! 🤧😁

It has to be B!

Sat here nursing a cold, but you've inspired me to have a go. Having no stickers, I've decorated someone that came along a couple of years ago!
