i had to break my "shutting the fuck up is free" policy for a tiktok video today with a woman (with very few visible tattoos) very assertively stating that realistic tattoo sleeves are flagging conservative.

the degree to which tron as a "franchise" has been inflated to be some epic, legendary thing, and not a kinda schlocky but visually definitive genre exercise, is super, super weird. the first tron flopped! tron legacy did middling business (and it came out 15 years ago)! what did people expect?

one of the "nice" things* about collecting 4k blu-rays is that eventually you will probably hit the point where big sales will happen and you'll realize you already have all the discs you want from those selections already.
