they'll never be "beginner" mistakes again, but I'll notice myself going through the muscle-memory motion of drawing, for example, a hand, that if I don't consciously pull myself back and make myself Really study the overall composition I won't notice that the hand is 3 sizes too big. it's funny.

something peculiar about drawing, but probably many creative practices, is that you can know what you are doing to the point that you stop thinking about it and I think that's how sometimes really experienced artists' work starts to circle back into beginner type mistakes...
