FINAL: Brewers 3, Cubs 1

The best team in baseball this season advances to the NLCS, where the Dodgers await. Milwaukee did it with excellent pitching and three solo HR, and Miller Park will host Game 1 on Monday. The Cubs pushed the Brewers to the limit. Milwaukee was better.

Thank you #Cubs for taking the division series down to the wire. At the start of this season I never expected 91 regular season wins and (at least) eight postseason games. Bonus baseball indeed!

Had to switch over to the Phillies-Dodgers game. Walk-off comebacker. Rob Thompson’s immediate reaction was to console his pitcher. That’s leadership.
