There's been an influx of Trump trolls on BlueSky lately. People can honestly disagree on your point but when they keep attacking you, then look at their posting history and see if they have a consistent history of attacking other people's posts. If they do, then block them.

I've already said that Western European countries are "socialist to some degree", which is true. My original point (again) was that socialism is not the same as communism. Also a true statement. Why are you trolling me on this? It's because you ARE a troll. Just look at your posting history. Bye!

That's exactly what the SCOTUS thinks--a prohibition on people smoking weed will hurt the left more than the right. Otherwise, they would be discussing banning guns for people who drink too much. (alcohol is much more likely to result in violence than THC)

What I REALLY don't understand is how we don't have the money to pay our federal workers, but Trump can give $20 billion to Argentina, and spend hundreds of millions rebuilding the White House during a government shutdown.

The only problem is that the Insurrection Act is for insurrections. There are currently NO insurrections. Even the No Kings protests were entirely non-violent, except for some MAGA types who tried to disrupt the demonstrations.

Well I disagree. They are more socialist than the US. For example they all have universal healthcare. They have a lot more social programs than the US. But you are free to believe whatever you want.

My point is that too many Americans are not well educated about how other countries are run. That explains how the Trump regime can use "socialist" as a derogatory label and get away with it. It's not the same as communism. That's my only point. Too bad you are stuck in "us versus them" thinking.

Same here. My parents grew up in the Great Depression, and they saved everything, even stuff that no longer had any value.

It was communism that didn't work. Unfortunately, millions of Americans don't know the difference between communism and socialism. Most of Western Europe and Canada are essentially socialist to some degree. And it is working pretty well.
