A beautiful moon in a clear blue sky today. The Tycho crater is easy to see with binoculars. 108 million years old. The rays from it are ejected material from the impact. Discovered by Tycho Brahe late 1500s.
There was one man looking when we arrived but his parking was running out so he went, then a couple with a playful dog arrived & watched with us, but the light was deteriorating.
