Rock like pushing into loose sand...lesser than even. Unable to support him. Climbs up an arm span, the rock crumbling away under his meaty hand makes him slide back down into the crater his casual stomps left

🧵That quickly began to spiral, too.. He wanted more; those missions began to serve a new purpose, not to find loot to improve his build, or weapons to use, but to find ways to improve himself. To grow his strength, his power, he needed more.

🧵However, as the gap between him and his fellow adventurers grew, the missions he accepted became increasingly boring. There was no challenge, no loot to make his victories greater than they already were, and no point in seeking equipment which wouldn't even fit his titanic body anyway.

🧵He enjoyed such a life: being as strong as he was, having a soft spot for taverns, and enjoying showing off both his body and keg chugging skills.

🧵Maybe that's how he started—an adventurer who was more typical than anything else. His natural strength allowed him to live the life of an adventurer so comfortably that he never really struggled with the tasks he was given.
