Hey. At blue hour, 1 billion ISO.
Yesterday at sunset I was taking hundreds of photographs of the waves, playing around with bokeh, movement, reflections and framing. None of it was really working out. Then I just turned around and saw this.
Had a nice view from the beach yesterday. A sunset in layers.
Apollo at peaceful blue hour last week-end.

Those sunset colors were particularly tasty.
Details of dried flowers on the beach, yesterday.
Sunset seascape in three parts from yesterday.
Soon the sun will set behind the lighthouse and further south until the winter solstice.
It's a simple photo but I liked the colors of that evening.
Some light and stillness from a few days ago. Always fun to shoot details at sunset.
Some days are just full of magic and there isn't much more to say or do about it.
At home in Autumn, from yesterday evening.
Tried to take different pictures of the moon many times and my favorites are when the sun's still up.

This one was taken two days ago on friday night, from the beach.

Pausing at sunset. The light is never the same around here. It's already cold but honestly, I'm looking forward to winter.
Wind giants at blue hour in the fields of Gaspésie

You have some very nice birds out there though!
Blue Jays are back around. Breezy and crisp mornings signal their arrival. They're quite social with us. 🪶
Sunset in two parts, from last week.
Very calm evening, shaping large colourful clouds on the east side (1st), with the sun setting on the west (2nd). We could only hear bird wings flapping on water.
My garden sunflowers are still thriving in autumn cold. Always busy with birds and bees.
Flaring up the old lens at sunset while waiting for wildlife
This was the view around 10pm last night, of dancing aurora over the saint-lawrence in bsl/gaspesie.
The trailing lines on the water are boats!
Single 10sec exposure, 80mm f4.5, iso 4000.

Sandpiper before sunset, waiting for the low tide. High tides are a great opportunity to see more birds closer, but I try not to disturb them too much. 🪶
This was shot on Nikon Z5 with an old manual focus 80-400mm lens, f11, 1/2000s, 1400 iso, -1 exposure compensation.
This autumn is full of northern lights, let's keep an eye up. This one's a 10 second exposure, letting space objects trail a little. The north coast also appears much closer than it really is. Shot from my upstairs window.
Evening snack on a crisp autumn evening.
Squirrels are particularly active these days.
September is staying true to its incredible skies. It was raining that evening while the sunset was blasting this golden color all around, and turning around even revealed a full rainbow.
