So there have been several floods of new bsky users since I took a short break from social media — so I’m posting another TTRPG intro post in case people don’t know me.

Like literally ONLY recently (past few years) not *5 generations*, so my concept of age is a little… skewed. I won’t lie. My great grandmother was 106 when she passed. But yeah it truly throws me for a loop when I remember my baby cousins are full-grown-ass college kids.

Oof, if that ain’t a mood, I don’t know what is. My “”baby cousins”” are now in college. Actually, the eldest just GRADUATED college. And my brain still is trying to wrap itself around that. Like it isn’t made easier that we’ve got four generations currently living in our fam.

Right? I just... Like *logically* I know it makes sense, but there's that weird part of me (and it makes NO sense! NONE!) that thinks 2000 was only a little while ago. Which *doubly* doesn't make sense, because I wasn't even 10 yet in 2000. It's like my brain math just *never ever* adds up.

My brother is about to put on Halloweentown because my sister-in-law hasn't seen it. She notices the release date and goes "Oh I wasn't even born when this came out," to which I replied, "Oh, no, no. No, don't ever say that again." 😂

That feeling when you turn the heat on in your house for the first time in the autumn and you can kinda… smell the heat?

I don’t know how to describe it, it’s such a specific scent.

Always makes me feel a little cozy and nostalgic. I’m here for the fall vibes & the spooky season vibes 🍂🍁👻🎃🐻🍄

Note to self: I am allowed to rest. Rest is good and necessary. I should not stress over not being able to get as much done today, or even recently. Things get done in whatever time it takes for them to get done. They will get done. I am allowed to rest. It's going to be okay.

Am I sick again? Yes. But, today:

✅ Some editing on my Daggerheart campaign frame
✅ Wrote some prompts for my duet TTRPG game (Forbidden)

... okay, I'll be honest, that might be it for today. I'm struggling to stay awake, and I do *not* feel good.

But at least I did something. I'll take it.
