thankfully i have an appointment with my diabetes dr scheduled for january. my previous A1C was like 8.6 and it bumped up to 9.2 🥲 i also recently got over being violently ill, and i know that always reflects poorly on my numbers lol. thank you laura, i’ll be okay 💚

like idk am i overreacting or was that very insensitive of my dr to say?? cause it came off to me as someone "assuming they know someone when they don't" and it just made me feel Bad 🥲

my a1c is a bit high at 9% but my dr (who is my primary, not my endocrine btw) is concluding that my t1d is "out of control" and "the worst it's ever been"

i used to have an a1c of 17%. my diabetes (personally) feels very controlled compared to before. i feel like i've made amazing progress. but ok
