Happy November & Happy Belated Halloween to all who celebrated.

Halloween Day, I worked from home. My boyfriend & I saw Back to the Future at Colonie Center, went to Rustic Barn Pub for music and drinks, and No Fun for some candy & Halloween fun.

Needless to say, it was a good Halloween.

Coming to Copake Grange Hall Friday, Nov. 7 is “Pippin, The Musical”.

This local production, directed by Stephen Sanborn of The Two Of Us Productions, will open Friday, November. 7 & will run for two weekends through Nov. 16.

Since 1876, C.W. Whalen & Sons has provided outdoor tents and party essentials in the Capital Region.

Monday, Sept.29,2025, the Troy business was inducted into the NYS Historic Preservation of Business Registry. The business will celebrate 150 years in 2026.

Abe Koogler’s “Deep Blue Sound” made its Capital Region premiere at Steamer No. 10 Theatre in Albany, NY Friday, Sept. 12.

The 2023 play, directed by Chris Foster, was excellent & the cast played nine Puget Sound islanders well.

Thursday, Aug. 28,2025, I was on the scene of a serious dump truck crash in my hometown of Cropseyville, NY. The person who drove the dump truck had a medical emergency and died at the scene, this crashing into the house.

My condolences & prayers to the family whose lives were affected in this.

Greenwich, NY resident, Jacob “Jake” Houston was destined to be an artist. For over 20 years, the self-taught artist continues to make a career as a painter.

He recently had a pop-up art show, and in April 2026, he’ll be opening an art gallery & art studio!

What an epic show last night (7/23/25) at Empire State Plaza! My boyfriend & I supported my friends in Plush as they opened up for Lit! It was a rockin’, fun show from both bands!

It’s been a year since I’ve seen Plush & 4 years for Lit! It was also nice to catch up with friends at the show!

#SundayThrowback: Last year on this date (7/20/24), Mom & I watched Super 400 perform live at Power’s Park in Troy, NY. It was the first time that I was out enjoying music since having mono (and had recovered from it).

It was also nice catching up with my friends after the show.

Ancram Center for the Arts recently held a regional premiere of “Where the Mountain Meets the Sea”, Friday, July 11.

The play, written by Jeff Augustin, will begin its last week of showings July 17, and will run until July 20.

#SaturdayWorkday: Today’s work office was at Engle’s Acres in Troy, NY. It was for the 6th Annual Farm Day Out that was put on by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Rensselaer County.

I was responsible for taking photos of the event for the Renss Lens. It was a warm, but a fun day today! (7/12/25)
