even after drawing Sandalphon so many times, I still don’t feel like I’m that good at drawing her, always end up spending a ton of time on her expressions but trying to show her emotions through subtle shifts is actually really fun

When I watched the first ep I immediately connected her with Sandalphon—nonhuman, lived for thousands of years, white haired and most importantly, so slow on the emotional uptake haha
Though honestly Sandalphon feels even clumsier when it comes to emotions

I don’t think she’d feel sad immediately after Regina’s death, it’s when the new apostle commander arrives and their Sigils connect, that she suddenly realizes her bond with Regina is truly gone forever
That’s when the tears start falling uncontrollably

Lately I’ve been wondering if Sandalphon would cry after Regina’s death…
Feels like not crying would fit her canon characterization better, but the idea of her shedding tears for the first time—because she finally understands what sadness is—also sounds really powerful…

Been having some ear issues lately so I’m on anti-vertigo meds
Side effects: heart palpitations, shaky hands, brain fog, drowsiness
...okay pretty sure I’ve got more problems after taking the meds

There was a period where I wasnt thinking about San/Regina as much and didnt really feel like creating anything either, thought maybe I was starting to lose interest in the ship
But the moment there’s even the tiniest opening, it all comes rushing back and Im suddenly overflowing with dopamine again
