Does Magic Story and worldbuilding need to be less interconnected or have they just stumbled consistently on a good idea? EoE being disconnected almost entirely and being well received vs the year of hat sets focusing on the Omenpaths makes me wonder.

Like surely 100 guys could just fucking pile on the gorilla and smother it to death. If we remove fear from this (Gorilla still loses because it sees a massive group charging and runs) then the gorilla just gets weighed down eventually.
