yeah, and even if ppl didn't care for hyouka, they could still see her love for the subject in her art; i'm just trying to push for an artist/writer first perspective, since it's not possible to fully divorce them from their art and this is sadly becoming more important and relevant than ever now

yeah it's alright, it's just that that sentiment reminds me of like, mery who got harassed for liking hyouka so much that ppl accused her of superimposing herself over the ip, so i always want to be mindful that artists are just ppl expressing their feelings for a subject with a skill they practiced

yeah the defense of l0idy0r was incidental but i do want to push back strongly against that wasted talent sentiment regardless; i really don't like seeing things like that in the age of ai slop devaluing artists as outgrowths of the subjects they portray rather than ppl who practiced a discipline

yeah i disagree on this, not just bc fan artists can draw whatever they're interested in without having to cater to other people's wishes, but bc despite endo running his mouth to sabotage himself their relationship was objectively better written this year than it has been for the past several years

yep, anytime i see ppl talking about it, it's only the most shallow interpretation and opinions rather than how everything fits together as a whole
for example, i could see from ppl's reaction to this week's ep that the anime's psyop to redeem fi0na worked bc the "opinions" all parroted each other

part of the fun is figuring out what's happening and trying to understand what's going on, it's not so much exposition but rather the knowledge of the situation changing as you go thru the game
but yea, i recommended it bc i figured it would be a good substitute for that specifically lol

i would have to restart it to see for sure, but while fast-forward is an option, it's mostly used to speed up old options or scenes that you've already done
but i wouldn't recommend speeding thru it on the first time anyway, bc there's a ton of new information getting thrown at you all the time

this is exactly why i roll my eyes at the anime giving him forced sentimental moments in the movie; l0id isn't like that at all and hasn't been bc he is a fraud who keeps resetting his progress towards seeing the fam as real yet ppl keep running defense
