2024年個人的年間ベストアルバム｜コルク

前作はJack Antonoff、今作はAaron Desnnerがプロデュースに関わってるが、聴き比べると方向性の違いが見えてきて面白い。Jack Antonoffはポップス面の拡張と壮大さ、Aaron Deannerはインディ的な陰影や奥行き、といった部分をそれぞれ活かそうとしているように感じる。

一曲目がかなりゴシックホラーテイストな仕上がり（しかもハロウィンリリース）で若干身構えたけど、それ以降はインディーロックを芯に儀式めいたムードがいいバランス。Aaron Desnnerのプロデュースをもろに感じる余白が効いており、前作よりも静けさの中に熱がある雰囲気が高まっている。
