Did the 5K Fall Color Run/Hike at the arboretum today. It was a lovely route on one of my favorite trails and even though it drizzled a bit, it was still a nice day to get out there. Set a new hiking elevation record of 323 feet and got a sweet long-sleeved T-shirt!

Trying to psych myself up for a 5K hike that I signed up for over a month ago. It was a good idea then but today it is cold and windy and about to rain and I'm crabby about it.

Concrete Park is one of my favorite places on Earth! My family settled in the area just north of there and I go back every three years for a reunion. I always hit up this spot and I'm so happy to see it carefully restored and maintained.
