Anyone remember the Kinsella novel the Iowa Baseball Confederacy? Not the one made into the movie Field of Dreams (Shoeless Joe Comes to Iowa.) In IBC the 1908 Chicago Cubs come to play a local team in Iowa. Game goes into a temporal vortex and goes on endlessly. Just asking, no reason.
