I'm a bit cynical, so I wonder if the true intention of this "games should be 100 bucks" take has roots in an opinion more related to "I like the video game culture and I don't want devs to cater to poor people"
Some people forget that several of goty contenders this year are games that costs 50 bucks or less
Bait yadayada believable
They had literally the attitute of this comic
The lack of discussion in reddit only makes me remember this pic
So, Tencent is swiping Horizon?
Cool, there's nothing more I want from a shooter than having rpg skills that give me 5% of crit under the full moon and if my last name starts with T
It does feel like an Allagan-themed dungeon theme. Without playing ff16, I wouldn't think this as a boss fight
did you know that a hololive member ate tarantula meat in a stream?

She ate some of the legs and said it tasted like crab or shrimp

So... yeah...
It's funny to remember that someone grabbed all the comments made in the last 15 years of that subreddit and finding out that 50% of the total comments in that subreddit were "break up with them"

Tomonobu Itagaki (creator of Ninja Gaiden 2004, Dead or Alive) has passed away according to his Facebook
The amount of times that a nintendo dev said "Iwata had to come and help us with the code so we could ship the game" is funny. I can think of a Mother game, a Pokemon game and Smash Bros Melee right now
I wonder if it's because of a gameplay perspective

The Scions have several jobs already fulfilled from other protagonists or jobs that don't have a very fun kit to play with, for example AST from Urianger

But I do think that G'raha could've been a good refreshing option
so, are we reducing the eos to 4 months?
A lot of bosses have control of their minds. Best example is Dung Defender. Most enemies that don't have their eyes orange too. Some dream bosses are recollections of their personalities and memories before dying, none of them remember dying so they carry on as if nothing. Grimm is also free of mind
I'll die in the hill that Hollow Knight wasn't made as a soulslike in mind. it feels more coded as a Metroidvania, especially super metroid, but people dying 30 times to a boss has convinced everyone that this is a soulslike game
It isn't, but you're in the right track. Fungal wastes uses and queen's garden too, but they both have mantis enemies on them (queen's garden mantises are considered traitors)

So it's a leitmotiv attached to the mantises
I did like it when in Hollow Knight the unknownable higher being had a feud against the other unknownable higher being and their machinations went "do you really want to make it personal?" each time... so yeah, it was extremely personal
I mean, Hunter's Journal doesn't that that many lore as you think. It's still cryptic and it has some bits that help to understand more of the world, but also has useless info like "hit it when it opens its mouth"

But to be fair, it also has political commentary that I love
Shame that the soul tyrant hate posting will never happen lmao
To be fair, the game works perfectly fine if you don't chase the true ending. Game was made to reach whatever point you're happy with

True ending was enjoyable for me, but I know it was made for sickos
I've seen some games that call the easy mode "normal" while the increase difficulty is called hard, very hard, hardcore, extreme and so on, so I guess that can catch up instead of story mode
This is the reason why my favorite DMC videos are the Truestyle Tournament videos. No juggling enemies for 5 minutes, just pure skill and style (that I'll never achieve)
