My husband (now retired) was a wildland firefighter. During trump's last govt shutdown, he was required to work but was not paid. He received $1,250 state unemployment. Back pay after shutdown ended. State asked for money back. FUBAR

Our hospital in Oregon serves approximately 383,000 people! I had appendicitis last year, spent 14 hours in the ER waiting room with IV antibiotics and a flannel blanket because there were no beds available.

Oregon has a woman governor. He probably perceives her as an easier mark than Gavin Newsom and J.B. Pritzker. I hope she shows him he's wrong.
