Same lad asked me how to cook an egg. Asked him whether he wanted soft boiled, hard boiled, fried, scrambled. "You know, like an egg." Turned out he meant fried. Wouldn't mind but I don't even like fucking eggs.
Lad I shared a flat with at college asked me how to cook sausages once. Told him better to grill re less fat, etc. He complained about 20 minutes later that his sausages were only cooked on one side...
