a club/bar is a public space, clearing ICE to enter.
HOWEVER: once a ticket, cover or wristband is required for entry, it deems the area PRIVATE, preventing ICE raids indoors. this information is directly from ICIRR. in order to get in to your PRIVATE party, they must have a warrant. ⬇️

Again, I ask, what are we going to do when ICE shows up. Sharing infographics (if even that) only does so much, because it’s not beyond me that most of the shows on the strip have almost all-white audiences, and I don’t trust white gays to do the right thing (clearly). So what are we doing?

It’s also an option for businesses generally considered public spaces to designate private “staff only” areas, such as back offices or kitchens, which means 🧊 would need a judicial warrant signed by a judge to get back there, which they are unlikely to have.

tip to memorize a phone number: Make a variation of it your pin or password. Spell out part of it, put the area code at the end, reverse it to obscure it, or just use a word and then the numbers :) you’ll memorize it in days

circling back to this: theres something really disturbing about the sanitisation of right wing mentality that comes from these people who in their well-meaning reflection, are still deeply unable to reckon with their negative value systems that allowed them to buy in to the right’s indoctrination
