More juvenile trumpeter swans for the #birdoftheday theme of #wings.

The juveniles have to build strong muscles to prepare for flight. This involves a lot of flapping and stretching of their wings while on the ground.

I understand that. I once fed some birds on my deck during the winter. They all gathered, then I heard a loud thud. A hawk swooped in, grabbed one of the small birds and hit my glass door.😫
