sam has been my coach for probably around 2 years now. both for my teams (3 of them!) and individually. he has such a good grasp of the game and offers really good advice. anytime he’s not sure it becomes a convo too.

d5 -> d2 (and plus suggested) through all his help. you should absolutely do it

yea! i was mostly lucky coincidence. i was teammates with parias at the time and he was mentioning needing some help with verification for lsl. so i offered! did that on and off for awhile. then when jub wasn’t available so they asked the staff about streaming. i offered having 0 experience

the biggest slap in the face after all of this is that the position is technically a promotion (going from senior ra 1 to ra 2) but the raise is only $800 a year… i do not know how that is legal tbh

anyway gonna have to budget big time bc i still have to pay parking and now medical insurance too

finally got a response from hr last night and the official offer today (one day before my last day lmao)

i cannot express how incredibly relieved i am and just how much i cried last night. very excited for new prospects and more molec bio work!!

still waiting on hr but my new pi does not seem concerned so that’s a huge sigh of relief. the timeline will vary based on hr’s decision but i do not think i’m at risk of losing my new job like it seemed

was waiting for tenor to make a funny image bc we forgot to take a drip pic, but he’s slacking so i’m posting without it.

anyway! waypoint played in week 1 of s3nal and got 15th! some close games against high level teams but couldn’t clutch. we’ll be back better and stronger than ever next time!

i’m wings! i used to TO for lsl then switched to streamer for both lsl and minnow cup whenever jub wasn’t available. i did luti tonight and recently riptide spec. since mulloway has gone inactive i’ve been slowing joining other orgs to stream including cca, ipl, under pressure, ink keepers tavern

just pulled up the video to save to watch later and noticed you had “preseason week 3,” instead of just regular season week 1 or (overall) week 3, in the first like 30 seconds. just so you know
