I’ve entered this music video I made into an international competition for hobby musicians and I’d be enormously grateful to anyone who could give it a “like” on YouTube.

And I’m quietly rather proud of both the song and the video, and I hope that you might enjoy it!

Not far right, just right
I’m so sorry to hear that. I wasn’t physically harmed but it left me very traumatised and with a fear of black men that took a lot of getting over. It is disgraceful that the police didn’t act when you were hospitalised. I hope you are over it now, though it can take decades.
I worked there for 30 years and went from being regularly asked if I was trade to being regularly asked if I was looking for business (at 8am at the bus stop opposite McDonald’s.
I think it is just too long a road that leads nowhere. I used to play the piano at Harry’s wine bar which was the height of glamour, and that has gone, too.
Yes, I was amazed at Atkinsons, as well, and also impressed by the market. But Cole Brothers? Where do people from Totley and Fulwood shop now? (I know Cole Brothers isn’t technically The Moor. And the govt building at the bottom is deserted. I worked on The Moor in 1980 and it was dying then.
By it there’s nothing wrong with the white South Africans and Aussies who live here. Not least because they call a spade a spade, so to speak.
The really worrying time will come when people with racist sympathies stop kidding themselves that they are not racist, and start thinking that it must be ok to be racist now, since so many others are.
Is he going to return to his life as a leprechaun?
There is no humane way to kill a human.
All I see is actors. Every single one of them is an actor and nobody seems to be calling it out. They just aren’t representative of the population in general. I don’t even know a single actor in real life.
Why don’t they just pretend to have tripped over a crack in the pavement and get the money back that way? :-)
It is a form of snobbery even to spell out the house number when it is in single figures. It’s another form of snobbery to buy a house with an attractive house number, as we did (100). I would have been happy with 69 as well, but never came across one that was for sale.
They are probably in less danger if the names are released than if there is still something to hide.
There are no ugly people in adverts, either.
Well yes. Obviously, once they’ve got their 4 star hotel room and meals paid for and a flat screen telly they are obviously all working illegally as actors in tv adverts. Hiding in plain sight.
How could he lose a referendum that he would have no part in?
Mind you, The Moor is in the same state of decline that it was when I worked there in the 1980s.
I was held up at work near Kings Cross - twice, exactly a year apart. The first time there were three men with no obvious weapons. The second time, three different men, all with guns. After they robbed me they tied me up and cctv showed them calmly walking away. Police did absolutely nothing.
Screenshot of a quotation that doesn’t give the source, doesn’t say who is making the accusation and is - very lazily - posted with no alt-text.

I think we can take this with a very big pinch of salt.
Is that a glass of chilled schadenfreude?

They really do seem to be chasing current Tory and Reform voters, the one constituency who will never, ever vote Labour. Meanwhile they're actively driving away everyone remotely sympathetic to progressive or social policies. But I guess I'm not an expert political strategist, so what do I know?
This could be such fun. Write to a house with a flag, address it from a nearby one with a flag (but mot close enough that they would know each other) and say that you noticed the flag and, like you, we are also swingers, and wondered if you’d like to meet for an evening of keys on the table.
Yes, I would agree with that. I didn’t vote.
You might be willing to accept anything and excuse everything that Labour does. I actively campaigned for them and I expect much better from them.
Have heard nothing about it other than from my agent (I’m a landlord and I agree with the measures).

Again, government is meant to do good things. It should be par for the course. That’s what we pay them for.

Labour should not be making mistakes that anyone can predict will be mistakes.
