Every time one of my posts even slightly breaches containment, I have to beat down the suddenly rising panic that today is the day people realize I've tricked them all into thinking I am _not_ an impostor.
That's awesome> Never underestimate adepts with improvised weapons! :3
To relax, I play Unpacking and A Little to the Left.

To relax, @jakubwisz.bsky.social plays Dredge and XCOM.

Certain things (like, what constitutes "relaxing") we'll never agree on in this house.
#ColorsOfFinland day 17. Our garden provided some nice mushrooms for all of us to enjoy. They're so jiggly*!

You can do this 💖💖💖
Ouch. That's so accurate. Cheering you on! 💖

The higher the internal resistance, the more important the task!
Never have I ever been so interested in a foreign-country local election as I am now. Good luck, NY! 🤞

I need to return to some social media platforms bc I gotta do publicity (love you, Bluesky, but the reach is rough). Questions for y’all:
which platforms do you find most effective for driving traffic to twitch/youtube? AND
which are the least evil these days?

TOMORROW!

We're back on our game design chaos & we've somehow convinced @brennanrtaylor.bsky.social, cofounder of @ipr.bsky.social, to join us on this chaotic ride!!!

Tues, Nov 4 @ 6pm PT, tune in twitch.tv/gnome_anne as we design and playtest a #ttrg in just 90 mins!!
I admit it requires a party in which everyone is at a similar level of locked-in, so we can all have fun. I'm lucky to have one :)
Because we're on internet: It's more fun that way to me. And I'd be disappointed if the GM would not appreciate the effort I put into learning the game and playing it well - and handwaved the rules I'm working within just because another person in the group had "a cool idea".
As someone who plays (mostly) ultra-crunchy Shadowrun, I must agree. There is a certain flavor of happiness when you manage to do The Cool Thing specifically through knowing the system well, planning ahead, getting the right gear, and executing a heist in a buttoned-up way. It's more fun that way.
Thanks! It brings me joy, too. I hope it stays this way throughout the winter :)
#ColorsOfFinland day 16. In Poland, we call this time of the year "Golden Polish Autumn." Finland's not that lucky (darker and more moist on average), but there's still some gold to be found.
#ColorsOfFinland day 15*. Found something that's not yellow/orange/brown!

Back-posted for yesterday, because I and consistency have an on-again-off-again relationship.
These are so lovely! 💖

Dawno juz nie zdarzylo mi sie topic Marzanny, wiec jest szansa, ze rusalek na mnie nie nasle :)

you can grab one here: www.pigeonmakesart.co.uk/store/p/slav...
Which calls for an annual reminder to leave the leaves where they fall. Not only they act as a hassle-free mulch and enrich soil with nutrients as they decompose, they also provide shelter for many invertebrates, including your future pollinators.

Leaf them be! 🍂
#ColorsOfFinland day 14. Last year, we already had the first snow. For now, it's still relatively warm (6 C) and pleasant. Our neighbors have a magnificent chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum) right next to an equally magnificent oak, and together, they create the nicest leaf arrangements.

So I hear nanotyrannus is officially a species now? Way to go short king!
#ColorsOfFinland day 13 (boo! spooky!)

In tune with the season, it's baking time.
In tune with the season, all the eggs I used today turned out to be mutants.

The biggest lie THEY ever told was convincing people that tinfoil hats protect from mind control waves. Sure, wear a freaking antenna made from radiowave amplifying materials on your head to "protect" from 5g, right. Y'all should be wearing copper cages on your heads, wake up sheeple!
The new Affinity landed as freemium, and I have never been so conflicted. On one hand: cool, people now have free access to layout tools! On the other, the suite of AI crap with Canva pro tells me that this will go downhill from here.

If you use it, opt out from them scraping your data for GenAI!
