Having a little setback on the mural. The surface of the building is so rough and the paint doesn't like it and I can't do detail work. So I have come up with a plan to complete the project. I did get the birdhouse and the flowers around it painted as well leaves in the tree.

I've been asking for 2 years for a garden shed to keep my birdseed and garden stuff in. I am so lucky that my husband is building me one. Today I started painting a mural on one side and he finally began building the doors.

Last year this lily was in a pot and had only 3 blooms. I transferred it to a new garden and it is exploding this summer.

Today I had to say goodbye to our sweet girl Lucy. I can't believe that 15 years ago we brought her home. She was a crazy girl and so full of life, but we knew her time was coming soon.

There are a couple of bunnies that are living under some of my backyard bushes. I don't weed that area to give them hiding places. I call this one Peter (as in Peter Rabbit). This little one comes out often when I'm in the yard.

Lucy used to love chasing bubbles. It was great to see her at 15 still interested. She can't hear anymore and is blind in one eye and suffering from arthritis and spends most days napping. I'm going to miss her so much when her time comes.
