The Tomb, also called the Runit Dome, is a huge concrete structure with a diameter of 377 feet (115 meters) located on Runit Island in the Enewetak Atoll, part of the Marshall Islands in the central Pacific Ocean. It was constructed by the U.S. Defense Nuclear Agency between 1977 and 1980.
