on the iOS side, they seem to have fixed random sound check bugs between songs of different sources/bit depths/sample rates (i.e. when using apple music lossless [a hodgepodge of different rates/depths] and cloud music library together), so now that’s usable again

cool! they fixed the ability to remote control apple music on apple tv without fully turning on the tv. but of course it can’t be all sunshine and apples. sound check doesn’t work with cloud music library tracks over airplay, rendering the thing still utterly unusable
