Thinking about Ed waking up too early but not wanting to get out of bed, so he pops open the latest novel he borrowed from the local library and reads for a bit.

No idea how long he’s been buried in the pages but when he glances down, Stede is fondly gazing at him with still-sleepy, hooded eyes.
