I won by just staying close. If you’re nearby, most of his attacks can’t hit you, and you can dodge the inhale by going under him, and that lets you get some hits in for free. Only dangers are the soul blast and the dive, and those are generally pretty easy to dodge. Throw bombs when he inhales, too
