eventually they will eat through my skin like everything else, but it takes days for that to happen whereas with the other electrodes it takes a matter of hours. i also use electrodes for my tens machine (not the same kind) but i can't find it right now so i don't know what they're called.

i cannot use tegaderm, steristrips, regular bandaids, red dot electrodes, or most other adhesives, but that's what i've found works for me. the ekg electrodes were a lifesaver, i buy them in bulk and bring them with me to the hospital but heads up that the longer they're on in a warm area +

line dressings - IV3000 (frame delivery is the frameless larger one)
CGM - freestyle libre (whatever the adhesive is on there never bothers me)

ok! so i find that the closer to my core/torso an adhesive is, the more likely i'll react worse to it (i think it's something to do with the heat), so all of these are sort of conditional, but this is what i use. +

it's soooo exhausting. and then doctors are like "are you sure you aren't just anxious" and im like listen i OUGHT to be with how much constantly goes wrong but can you do your fucking job thanks. anywho, you and i both deserve a break
