Many resources are being drained due to the lack of transportation capabilities, and people to self sustain and get to where they want to in life.

Transportation is a centralized focus as we all know, but people forget too often, leaving a lot up for debate and questions. There are structures in our society and governmental frameworks that could improve if transportation was more stable and universal.

Some may be more effective immediately than others. One thing I’ve noticed throughout the entire country is that there are communities who lack the support of transportation to gain employment to contribute to society and the tax revenue for their communities, the state, in turn transportation.

@wbez.org I’m listening to you on NPR, I believe there’s many ways that the state can diversify its approach and collecting financial means to execute a stronger transportation system in the state of Illinois. I hear all the different proposals, they sound brilliant.

We need substantial changes made, and I don’t know how much longer we all have to deal with the various chaos that continues to unfold until reduce something. I’m confident that all of us are doing something in one way or another and there’s only so much we can do together we can achieve a lot.

They make us all look bad because we share similar characteristics biologically. And unfortunate reality is historically it has been the same, and humans in general have the tendency to categorize people of specific groups as all in the same.

They are profiled on a daily basis. I’ve only been profiled at least 15 times in my life and maybe about seven of them I recall. But there are other people that we need to use our privilege to speak up and to stop the harassment they receive from people who look like us.

I continued on my way to go into a store, I believe it was a Walgreens, he continued to tell me to stop, and I ignored it, and he pulled out on me. That’s when I put my phone down and spoke to him and he asked me why I ignored him and I told him he freaked me out.

I recall that every time I walked past a driveway, he pulled in then pulled out into the other driveway so I decided to jaywalk across the street to get to safety. I ended up dialing 911, he turns his sirens on, telling me to stop, I said no I’m on the phone with the police. He said I am Police.

In 2018, in Lakeland, Florida, an officer pulled out a gun on me. He claimed it was due to jaywalking, but we both knew that wasn’t the reason. When he saw me, he asked me questions. I had a hoodie on that honored the victims of a school shooting. Apparently, I was walking near a school too when ?ed

Different demographics have suffered specific fates there are irreversible. There has to be justice, not just talk for justice.

There is unfortunately good and bad in everything. That being said, there are too many perpetrators in law-enforcement and other critical positions, which is very concerning. They are supposed to serve and protect, but too many mistakes have been made and lives have been lost.

ICE is all over the city and burbs today, including Waukegan. Multiple reports on social media from people who have found empty work vans and are trying to locate family of their owners. This is a near daily occurrence now.

I saw a report today that the mass firings at SAMHSA/HHS included all Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) staff.
