My blind playthrough sent me to dino land, which soundly stomped me out by the end.

I decided to nerf a bad round towards the end of act 2, so I could progress to the final act, thinking I was close to wrapping things up. However, after making it back to Hollywood I recognized I was still cooked 😆

The production value on this starter set is absurdly high and anyone that's a fan of the Arkham Files will find something to like about it IMO. If you're paying in euros you should check this out.

If anyone is into Arkham Horror and knows they have a role playing game, I put an unused copy of the Starter Set (unpunched tokens) on eBay recently 😄 ebay.us/m/OwnZiq

I never got to use it, my friends didn’t show any interest despite is all being D&D players. Oh well!
Pardon our interruption...

Ummm that's our move.

We put US bases on everyone else's land. This isn't my specialty but I think this is the first time we've ever let someone put their base on our turf.

If you're just getting into it, then all you need to concern yourself with is the "core set". If you decide you like the system then you can pick up additional campaigns, which consist of a box of new characters and player cards and/or a second box that has a new campaign.

One of the great things about the Arkham IP is the different lenses it can be viewed through. Do you want...

Organized crime?
Dark Academia?
Bizarre worlds?
Cultists?
Cozy horror?

Arkham Horror incompasses that and more.

This one will give you secret international societies, if that's your nitch.

Thank you for taking the time, your insight was great. Enjoy game night!

It's a fully different d6 system that, I feel, is very intuitive. Players look at COC and think this would be redundant but there is a massive gulf between the two systems both in the mechanics and spirit of what they bring to the table.

Having wrapped up my review read of this I am again struck by the fun way Ms. Jones has managed to fit her story between the rain drops of The Drowned City.

Preorder this to learn why Prof. Walters helped you win your campaign, if you survived, even if he was never at your game table.

Harvey Walters has seen it all. He has a library stuffed full of occult knowledge and his head is full of plans. But will it be enough to save the city that he loves? Available for pre-order from your favorite bookseller or @aconytebooks.bsky.social.

1) @rosemaryjones.bsky.social has written more published books set in the Arkham Files IP than any other writer.

2) You can sign up to be included in a "chill-n-chat" with her Sunday night after registering for this wonderful online convention.

Did you know that you now can directly sign up for open seats at Flights of Foundry in Limited Seating sessions? Chill-n-chat with me on Sunday and don't forget to check out all the other free programming! You find all the griffin-y good stuf at flights-of-foundry.org! Convention starts tomorrow.
Flights of Foundry's griffins look like they are snoozing in a pile, but they are really working behind the scenes for the 2025 convention.

Awesome member of the Arkham Horror community "Antimarkovnikov" has released their newest "Choose your Own" campaign guide for The Drowned City.

I've picked up several of these over the years and the work put into them is expectational.
