Bryce Cannon cemented himself in Flying Boxcars history today, hitting for the franchise’s first-ever cycle in a 14-13 win over Gastonia.

A go-ahead two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning capped off Cannon’s historic day, during which he drove in a team-high four runs.

For those keeping tabs on attendance, the Flying Boxcars saw an 8.8% drop in their year-over-year attendance total for 2025. On average, the club drew 257 fewer fans per game than they did a season ago.

The 39-year-old outfielder held Hagerstown's franchise hits record before landing on the injured list in June. His 893 career hits rank seventh in ALPB history.
