Robbie Earle thinks that the penalty award should have stood. He said it was a foul by Nick Pope and that Gyokeres might have even gone on to get the ball and put it in the net anyway.

By the way, if reasonable people disagree about a call, it cannot, by definition, be a clear and obvious error.
