I think the film is excellent up until the ridiculous finale which spoiled it for me. The killer has night vision goggles, with ample time to shoot Clarice who is stumbling around in the dark, but she gets to fire a round off and kill him. Really?

It's bloody ridiculous Alan isn't it? For just three quid a week I get excellent local, national and international news coverage, listen to loads of sports radio commentaries, watch ad-free films, some top quality drama, and read loads of other online content provided by the BBC. 👏

On the bus back to Littlehampton, nerves shredded, just watched A House of Dynamite at the New Park, Chichester, superbly performed and tense as hell, I'm definitely ready for a couple of drinks now! Wow! I always had it in the back of my mind that Candyman was a decent B movie, but after seeing it again tonight, 33 years on, that is grade A horror, truly the stuff of nightmares, and a superb big screen experience.

In Worthing for a 6pm screening of Candyman (1992). Not seen it since then, I remember enjoying it at the time, and yet can't recall any of the death scenes, so hopefully I'll be thrilled again. I do remember being impressed by the cinematography and soundtrack. #filmsky #Halloween 🎃

Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed that their staff have been paid early while in administration.

The fans have spent huge money since the club entered administration, spending over £500,000 in the first weekend, and the Supporter’s Trust donating £20,000 👏
