having a popular oc in fandom is a curse and chasing that popularity is a fool's errand. you don't actually want that. make ocs for yourself and the five little freaks who hype you up, its far better in the long run.

Shout out to those who like my Lume exactly the way she is and don’t impose harmful stereotypes on her nor try to tell me to change her to be more appealing to them (e.g. latinx women are hot blooded & not soft, etc. etc.).
