I was asleep. My sister called to let me know. Mum woke up briefly. Dad and my sister told her it's time to go see Nana and Pop. Her sister. The little dog our wifi network is named after. All the loved ones who had passed. And then she did.

My mum's had breast cancer for a while now, but after a few years of fighting it she's made the decision to stop treatment and let go. She's comfortable, mostly just sleeping now, and surrounded by family. She's always been a strong woman, and I think this was her chance to go out on her own terms.

The couple next door are outside. He's profoundly hard of hearing and she has a megaphone for a diaphragm. The cat's is named Greg, and they're trying to coax it inside. They're lovely people but these houses are close enough to hear each others toilets flush.

Wow, my power station used 24% battery, just running the inverter with nothing plugged in? I pressed the button earlier in the night to see how much charge it had (100%) and didn't realise I'd left it on.

It would be good if `git bisect` had an auto mode that kept taking you back in increasing increments until you find a good commit. That alone is a chore. Best I can tell it doesn't.
